So Misunderstood 11th November 2008Today’s’ strip has an alternate ending. Originally, the last panel was Lovecraft ‘mutating’ into a toilet after tempting fate with his belief that his physiology is so bizarre he couldn’t mutate into anything more unlikely. But then when I came to add the dialogue and wrote “What’s the worst that could happen?” it got me thinking about the famous Dr Pepper commercials and so I decided to change the last panel to what you see here. Does it work? Is it funnier this way? Mrs Nobody certainly thought so. What do you think? (why not discuss it in the forums!)Incidentally, all that stuff that Lovecraft says about octopuses is true.
